Program Structure
Weekly Club Nights
Awana Clubs is fun! Kids will learn that God is real, that He loves them and that this love was expressed through His Son, Jesus Christ. Scripture memory and application to daily life is a core feature of the program. Club materials include uniforms, handbooks, and a variety of awards. Weekly club nights are divided into three segments:
- Game Time: Kids will learn teamwork and good sportsmanship as they play specially designed team games on the Awana game circle.
- Handbook Time: Small groups of kids meet with leaders to complete handbook assignments and learn more about the Bible verses.
- Council Time: All gather together to share fellowship in singing, award presentations, announcements and, most importantly, a Bible message.
Club nights are held on Fridays from 7PM to 9PM. Leaders help students to memorize and learn God’s Word in both small group and large group settings. Students are encouraged to apply these truths to their lives and become disciples of Jesus Christ.
